John is a dual cooperate senior risk and security consultant with over 25 years’ experience in risk and security management in various industries including but not limited to the defence, logistics, events, sports, public bodies, construction, railways, and facility management sectors.
John is an expert in the management of public and employer’s liability insurance, expert reports and witnessing in health and safety failure cases, high profile accident investigation, development and review of management systems, complex organisational risk audit, strategic business change, development of business continuity plans, development and review of complex COSSH, SSoW and Risk Assessments, advanced security risk management, business accreditations, workplace health and safety, health and safety coaching and mentoring of organisations’ board of directors, top management and all level of employees.
John regularly consults for various cooperate clients and has previously held a position with the British Military Police. John’s international experience cuts across Europe, Central America and Africa in countries such as Germany, Belize, Uganda, Rwanda, South Africa and France. He has successfully overseen risk management assignments for several high-profile projects including the London Olympic 2012, Glasgow 2014 and Baku 2015 games.
John is both a chartered health and safety and chartered security practitioner, registered Occupational Health and Safety Risk Consultant and a distinguished fellow of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management.
