Joan Manning

Joan Manning

Joan is a chartered Health and Safety specialist and qualified nurse with over twenty years of experience working within various departments of many Local Authorities.

​Her previous HSE assignments include providing health and safety advice, carrying out health and safety inspections and safety audits on all types of premises including multi-storey housing establishment. In addition, she has prepared and delivered health and safety training on First aid at Work, General Health & Safety Awareness, Fire Safety Awareness, Fire Marshals, Risk assessment, Manual handling of Heavy Loads, Safe use of Hazardous Substance, Confined Spaces, Asbestos General Awareness, Managing Building Safely and Managing Stress/Resilience Awareness.

​Before joining Epinots, Joan was the lead officer for the development of stress awareness management standards within the London Borough of Waltham Forest and the lead officer in managing large-scale health and safety well-being days.

Joan plays an active part in North London College Mentoring/Coaching Scheme and is a school governor for a local school. She enjoys playing Netball, Piano grade 3 and singing as a chorister.
